A woodcutter and his wife have been poor all their lives, until one day the man stumbles upon a bag of money hidden in a tree. His wife realizes that it must have been hidden by robbers, and tells him to keep quiet about it, but he insists they should spread the word around in the hope of finding the original owner.
Honesty (along with comedy!) always wins….and crime doesn’t pay….. in all tales ever told by the Schenectady Theater for Children.
This production will be on tour in the fall of 2011 to Capital District schools and venues.
